I visited Bikepost in Troon to test a couple of the Volt bikes and immediately fell in love with the Pulse LS.
I like the fact that Volt bikes are designed and manufactured in the UK.
The Pulse LS is such a compact bike perfectly suited to me as I am under 5 foot 3. My bike was ordered from Volt online on a Saturday afternoon and it was delivered by Bikepost the following Thursday. Brilliant service!

bicycle shop to receive our bikes and assemble them for us, prior to handing over. This enabled them to make
sure that there was no damage during transit and any assembly issues could be resolved directly.

Great bike. Organised a test ride with The Bicycle Chain in Johnston and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Ordered a Volt Pulse LS that evening and it was delivered 3 days later. Positive points - very well made bike, the standard battery in my experience is good for 60 miles, saddle very comfortable, the rear hub motor and spin system works intuitively and it simply feels like you are being helped along a little bit, the low and normal settings of assistance are enough for me except in very steep hills, the front and seat suspension are things I now consider essential and work very well. Negative points - the disc breaks are a little noisy which will probably get fixed at the first service, it is a heavy bike which is a problem in transporting it (but that’s electric bikes I suppose ) and that’s about it really.
I’m genuinely delighted with my choice and with The Bicycle Chain!

One week from ordering to phone call from Shetland Community Bike Project to tell me it was ready for collection. Have spent months debating this purchase and delighted with the result. Not many E bikes available in this size, and a local agent, so decision really made for me. For what you get I feel the price is very reasonable. Good looks are a bonus. The only thing I have to adjust to is the weight. Two skids in two days (at very low speed, almost static) as a result of not being able to hold the weight but I’ll get used to it. The boost lever is a godsend for a short sharp burst on sudden short inclines. Very happy!

Picked up my Volt pulse On 5th April.
I have to do frequent short journeys to my horses and wanted to reduce my car usage. I wasn’t a regular cyclist before buying my pulse. I also wanted to use a trailer with the bike so I can carry saddles etc. I absolutely love this bike, riding it is a total joy and it pulls the trailer effortlessly. My car is getting lots of downtime because I just want to use the bike! The build quality is superb and the gears are really smooth. Fabulous bike.

This bike is amazing but heavy to manoeuvre about when not riding it. Hence the 4 stars. Everything else about is 5 star: technology, customer service, style, charging, use of controls. Its like flying when you are riding it and that's on the normal setting.....

Thrilled with this super Volt electric bike
Thrilled with this super, well made, sturdy and so comfortable to ride Volt bike. It performs well on a variety of road surfaces including country lanes with grit, gravel and drain covers to navigate. I’m very pleased with it and will get much pleasure from riding for fun and to do small shopping trips into town. I’m sure it would also stand up well to longer trips and a cycling holiday.

I love my Volt Pulse bicycle. I can now pedal up the hills where I used to have to get off and push my old bike. I quickly got the hang of using the different levels of assistance and the whole cycling experience is now a positive one. The design is great including the built in lock, lights and speed/battery display.
The only very minor and easily resolved issue I had, was with the comfort of the saddle.
I would recommend this bicycle and my husband is now going to order one too!

Love the security, back wheel bolt lock, can't remove battery without key supplied, can't activate computer without fob supplied.
Easy gear change, flick of finger, no twisting, which is good for arthritis users. Performed well over rough terrain. The booster leaver for short burst of power.
Each time I've been out, I feel refreshed and exhilarated, not tired despite being over 60.
Wish the seat was softer.

So far so good, though I've not a chance to put it through its paces yet. The bike is pleasing to the eye with many useful features and is very sturdy. I'm looking forward to using it more in the spring and summer.

Great bike for a very good price. Very well built with lots of included parts, such as lights mudguards and side stand. Once used to the gears and power button it is a dream to ride, you can have nearly effortless rides, mostly uphill or even on the flat, although that will drain your battery. I visited the London Bridge office to talk through my options and take a test ride, Dale new to the firm was very helpful. I then ordered one online and here comes my only gripe. Because of the pandemic they must have had huge waiting lists as it took 4 months to get mine and missed out on summer use, it's very cold now. This was not really their fault and I got regular emails which kept telling me it was waiting for production with the delivery date getting longer. Finally it came and apart from the weather I am very pleased. Even took a call from Dave again asking me how I got on.
If you want one and can afford it (if in work think ablout cycle schemes for discounts) then check on delivery times, take a test ride and go for it.

Extremely pleased with my Volt LS Pulse bike
Extremely pleased with my Volt LS Pulse bike. Really enjoying being able to cycle longer distances as a result of the battery assisted power, especially when going up hills.
The only issue has been catching my leg when I dismount which, as the cross bar is not round, has caused some bruising.
But generally very pleased.

I did a lot of research on electric bikes and decided after visiting Bikepost in Troon and speaking to Mark and Colin I went for the Pulse LS. I am really pleased with it the build quality is first class and it's a really good looking bike. I do a lot of cycling and I find with the Pulse I can go so much further. My husband liked it so much he bought the Volt Connect.

Explained everything I needed to know about the bike set-up and didn't try too hard to sell me extras. Called me a couple of days later to check up how I was getting on. I bought the Pulse LS. the service and support from the Bike Post was great. delighted with the bikes but a couple of wee comments:
the saddle was uncomfortable for both of us (we bought two bikes) and I had to buy a new one when we were away touring. The pedals are those big flat ones you get on shopping bikes and we bought 'regular' pedals as on longer journeys these caused the balls of our feet to hurt. this has completely resolved the problem and would suggest these could be fitted to the bikes as standard as many people do use e-bikes for a lot more than nipping to the shops.

I bought Volt Pulse LS a couple of months ago and I couldn't have been happier! It's a marvellous e-bike. Stable and robust on the roads. Smooth transmission of power, great quality battery, quick to recharge and powerful. The bike effortlessly flattens out the hills and heading into strong winds is no problem at all. Thanks to this fantastic bike, I've been cycling everyday in all weather. It helps me commute with ease and gets me to places fast. I still get my everyday exercise but without pain. I even toned up and lost some weight from cycling everyday. Even my child loves to sit in her child seat at the back and enjoy the rides. Who says e-bike is cheating?! :-D

Well made and good quality materials. Control panel and power level easy to operate. Number of gears appropriate for normal everyday use. The security wheel lock is a bonus as is the socket for use with a chain. I have only had the bike for a short time but I have really enjoyed riding it. I purchased the bike so that I could reduce the amount of journeys by car. Living at the top of a hill and no longer in the first flush of youth I am amazed at how easy it is to peddle home even with panniers full of shopping. My husband is now thinking of getting one so we can cycle recreationally together.

Volt Pulse LS - exhilarating, fun, great workout
With more time on my hands I decided I would cycle for exercise and explore the countryside. Concerned an e-bike would be an easy ride I opted instead for a normal bike - big mistake. Whilst I enjoyed the cycling some of the hills were a challenge and took the edge of any enjoyment. Today I have been for my first cycle ride on my new Volt Pulse LS e-bike, I can honestly say I love, love, love it! The power was there when I needed it to be which meant that I was In control and could get a good workout with a bit of a boost on the steep hills. Exhilarating, fun, good looking bike, great exercise, looking forward to many more cycle rides further afield.
Thank you to Chris at Anglesey Bike Repairs for patiently helping me decide which was the right bike for me, then setting the bike up and showing me how everything worked.

Purchased a Volte Pulse LS from Paul Hewitt Cycles, who built, delivered and set up the bike for me. A fairly heavy bike, but a wonderfully easy ride up and down the Pennine Hills. Legs still get a work out on the low function particularly love the boost function, really useful when wheeling the bike uphill! Would recommend this bike.

I recently purchased a VOLT Pulse LS for my wonderful wife after she recovers from a life threatening condition, and we went out for the first time as a couple since 2015 only for a few miles but let me tell you there were joyful every one of them. The bike is so well made, the power delivers so smoothly thanks to the Spintech Motor and too be honest when she had it in top power I was struggling somewhat to keep up, A tow rope would have helped! I purchase for a living and I understand the difference between price and cost and after several weeks of looking at the marketplace my analysis said VOLT was the Winner .
