General
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the VOLT Refer a Friend scheme, also promoted as "Give £75, Get £75" ("the Scheme"), and are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
1.2. By joining the Scheme, or by using a referral code, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. In these Terms and Conditions, "Referrer" means a person who has joined the Scheme and been issued a referral code, and "Referred Friend" means a person who quotes that code when buying an e-bike from us.
1.4. The Scheme is offered subject to availability and may be amended or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
1.5. Standard VOLT warranty, delivery and returns policies apply to all purchases made under the Scheme.
1.6. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

Eligibility
2.1. The Scheme is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2. To join as a Referrer you must have previously purchased a VOLT e-bike, and the email address you register with must match the one held on your VOLT customer record. If we are unable to match your details to a previous purchase, we will not be able to issue you a referral code.
2.3. You may not use your own referral code, and a referral code may not be redeemed by the Referrer who was issued it.
2.4. Employees of VOLT, its dealers, and their immediate families are not eligible to take part.

Referral Codes
3.1. Referral codes are issued by email once you have signed up at voltbikes.co.uk/friend-referral and we have verified your details.
3.2. Your code is personal to you. You may share it with as many friends as you like, and there is no limit on the number of successful referrals you can make.
3.3. A referral code must be quoted at the time the order is placed. It cannot be applied to an order retrospectively, and neither reward can be claimed once the purchase has been completed.
3.4. If you sign up to the Scheme more than once we will issue you a new referral code. Any code previously issued to you will remain valid.
3.5. Referral codes have no cash value and must not be sold, auctioned, or published on discount, voucher, or cashback websites.

The Referred Friend's Reward
4.1. A Referred Friend receives £75 off the price of their VOLT e-bike.
4.2. The discount applies to new e-bike purchases only, and excludes reduced, ex-display and refurbished models, accessories, spare parts, and servicing.
4.3. The discount is available on purchases made directly with VOLT: on voltbikes.co.uk, at the VOLT London showroom, or by telephone on 020 7378 4728. Purchases made through third party retailers or dealers do not qualify.
4.4. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotional code.
4.5. The discount cannot be redeemed in conjunction with Cycle to Work vouchers or finance applications.
4.6. There is no cash alternative, and the discount cannot be exchanged for goods.

The Referrer's Reward
5.1. Once your Referred Friend's order has been completed, we will send you a £75 Amazon.co.uk gift card by email, to the address you registered with.
5.2. An order is treated as completed once the e-bike has been delivered or collected and the applicable returns period has expired.
5.3. Gift cards are issued within 30 days of the order being completed.
5.4. If a Referred Friend cancels their order or returns their e-bike for a refund, no gift card will be issued. Where a gift card has already been issued, we reserve the right to reclaim its value.
5.5. There is no limit on the number of gift cards you can earn, but rewards are personal to you and cannot be transferred.
5.6. It is your responsibility to make sure the email address you register with is correct and able to receive our emails. We are not responsible for gift cards sent to an incorrect address supplied by you.
5.7. Amazon.co.uk gift cards are subject to Amazon's own terms and conditions. Amazon is not a sponsor of, and is not affiliated with, this Scheme.
5.8. You are responsible for any tax liability arising from rewards you receive under the Scheme.

Misuse of the Scheme
6.1. We reserve the right to withhold or cancel rewards, void referral codes, and remove participants from the Scheme where we reasonably believe it has been abused. Examples include creating duplicate customer records or email addresses, self-referral, bulk or unsolicited distribution of codes, and posting codes on voucher or cashback websites.
6.2. You must not send unsolicited messages to promote your referral code, or imply that you are acting for or on behalf of VOLT.
6.3. Our decision in relation to any aspect of the Scheme is final, and we are not obliged to enter into correspondence about it.

Your Personal Data
7.1. We process the personal data you provide when joining the Scheme in order to verify your eligibility, issue your referral code, and pay your rewards.
7.2. Full details of how we handle personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Scheme
8.1. We may amend these Terms and Conditions, or the value of the rewards, at any time. The version published on this page at the time an order is placed is the version that applies to that order.
8.2. We may suspend or withdraw the Scheme at any time without prior notice. This will not affect a referral code that has already been redeemed against a completed order.
