Mental Health Awareness Week (13th – 19th May 2024) marks the perfect time to announce our latest partnership with mental health and suicide prevention charity Beder.

Together, we’re aiming to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health and build further awareness while celebrating the many benefits of cycling and e-biking.

Customised Metro Folding E-bike for Beder

We’re thrilled to have donated a customised Metro LS to this vital charity. The eye-catching folding electric bike will tour across the country by the Beder team and its ambassadors, raising awareness on the importance of mental health, encouraging people to get in the saddle to support their well-being.

The partnership kicks off on the 16th of June a team of Beder riders on VOLT e-bikes will take part in the British Heart Foundation’s London to Brighton cycle ride.

Having launched Beder FC, promoted by the likes of David Beckham and Marvin Sordell, and a cookbook with recipes from Gordon Ramsay, Yotam Ottolenghi and many more, Beder is a charity challenging how we talk about suicide prevention and mental health. This new partnership with VOLT is the next step in continuing to challenge these stigmas, stimulate dialogue and raise awareness.
