2019 is going to be another ground breaking year for us and we can’t wait to share what’s in store! There’s a ton of exciting announcements lined up for the year ahead. Building on what has already been a record breaking twelve months we feel confident that the next twelve will raise the bar to new heights!

So here are a couple of teasers for you, with more details and more announcements to follow in the next few weeks as well as the year ahead….

New Arrivals for 2019

We’re thrilled to offer you a glimpse of two new arrivals to our 2019 e-bike range (coming soon!). So hot off the press we don’t even have the photos yet!

1. Regent

This low step frame is inspired by the popular Burlington. Like the Burlington this is a classic and classy ride. The key difference being the Regent features a central crank motor. This isn’t just any motor either; it’s the latest Shimano STEPS E6100 motor providing one of the most sophisticated and advanced drive technologies available. The 18″ step-through Frame makes mounting and dismounting effortless, while SR Suntour Suspension ensures comfort for the duration of the ride. Finished with Alfine high end hydraulic brakes, you’ll be enjoying the safest ride in town.

2. Apex Electric Mountain Bike

E-MTBs are one of the industry’s fastest growing areas. The Apex is our first central crank Hard Tail Electric Mountain Bike. The enhanced toughened frame is powered by the awesome Shimano STEPS E8000 motor. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more advanced system! Shimano Deore 10 speed gears and SR Suntour AION suspension are the icing on the cake, and what a cake it is!

As you may have noticed, both of these ebikes feature Shimano STEPS technology with a central crank powered motor. We are very excited to add these two different but equally brilliant bikes to our STEPS family!

These are just two snippets of our latest tech and a glimpse of what’s to come. We are always working hard to improve and create new technology. 2019 will be no different as we continue to advance VOLT as a leader in the UK electric bike industry.
