E-bikes are opening up the outdoors and adventure to more people. Something that writer and self-confessed bike novice Alex Burns discovers while exploring unfamiliar territory for Best of Scotland Magazine on a Volt Ebike. 

Exploring with a friend on a Volt Kensington and Burlington hired from Bike Post, the pair cover some of the iconic, as well as the less well-known, highlights of Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock. 

Part of The Herald Newspaper (founded in 1783!), The Best of Scotland is a free publication that (as the name suggests) celebrates all things great and beautiful in Scotland.
