In 2020, Volt took a significant step towards enhancing our commitment to quality by relocating our manufacturing facility to Milton Keynes. In 2024 our factory and warehouse has become the heartbeat of our operations, capable of producing over 12,000 ebikes annually.

What sets our manufacturing process apart is the meticulous attention to detail provided by our team of Cytech-qualified Mechanics. Every bike that bears the Volt name is assembled almost entirely by hand, ensuring a level of precision and care that is unmatched in the industry.

Each bike undergoes rigorous testing to guarantee its performance, reliability and safety. Once our skilled team is satisfied with the results, they’re expertly packaged, ready to embark on their journey to our extensive dealer network, where they find their way into the hands of our valued customers.

VOLT says NO to plastics in our packaging.

Continuously committed to enhancing our environmental impact, we are proactively seeking ways to reduce our carbon footprint. In our ongoing efforts, we have recently implemented significant measures to minimize plastic usage in our packaging. Over 90% of polystyrene and foam packaging has been successfully removed from our production and packing processes. We’ve achieved this by substituting the use of traditional materials with shredded cardboard, a more sustainable alternative that aligns with our dedication to eco-friendly practices.

The VOLT Lite, the latest r-evolution in our e-bike range 

Introducing the VOLT Lite folding e bike, a revolutionary addition to our lineup that redefines urban commuting. Weighing in at just 17kg, it stands as one of the UK’s lightest folding ebikes, ensuring unparalleled convenience for riders on the go. The incorporation of the Bafang M820 250w Motor, initially engineered for Mountain Bikes, brings a perfect blend of lightweight design and exceptional power, boasting an impressive 75nm of torque.

With its compact folding mechanism, the VOLT Lite seamlessly combines portability with performance. The integration of Shimano Nexus 3 Speed Hub Gears ensures smooth transitions, providing riders with versatility across various terrains. The innovative Gates Carbon Fiber Belt Drive not only enhances efficiency but also reduces maintenance needs, ensuring a hassle-free riding experience.
