VOLT Launch New E-bike & Unveils New Podcast Series with Mr Motivator

It’s a landmark evening for VOLT Electric Bikes as we officially unveil not one, but two exciting new ventures designed to get Britain moving in smarter, healthier and more enjoyable ways.

At our London Bridge showroom, the evening celebrates the launch of the all-new VOLT URBAN range, our latest and most intuitive city e-bikes yet, alongside On Your Bike, a brand-new podcast series created in partnership with legendary fitness icon Mr Motivator.

 

Bringing together guests from across the media and entertainment industry, the event reflects what both launches are all about: movement, confidence, wellbeing and making everyday journeys something to genuinely look forward to.

Meet the New VOLT URBAN Range

Designed specifically for modern city life, the new VOLT URBAN range represents a major step forward in effortless urban cycling. Available in both the classic cross-bar URBAN and easy-access step-through URBAN LS, the range has been engineered to deliver a smooth, intuitive and lightweight riding experience for every kind of city rider.

At the heart of both models is a first-of-its-kind in the UK Bafang 3-speed automatic motor, working seamlessly with VOLT’s SpinTech Drive system and responsive torque sensor technology. The result is an incredibly fluid, “automatic-like” riding experience that intelligently adapts to the rider and terrain, removing the need for manual gear changes altogether.

Whether navigating busy commutes, weekend café rides or longer journeys across town, the URBAN range is built to feel natural, lightweight and effortless from the very first pedal.

Weighing just 17kg without the battery (19.5kg including battery), the bikes strike an impressive balance between agile handling and everyday practicality. Riders can also expect up to 55 miles of range from the removable Panasonic lithium-ion battery, while premium features including hydraulic disc brakes, a Michelin carbon belt drive, suspension seat post and integrated USB-C charging help deliver comfort, convenience and reliability across urban roads.

A Podcast About Movement, Mindset and Feeling Better

The launch of the URBAN also marked the debut of On Your Bike, an uplifting new podcast series hosted by Mr Motivator.

The series explores the powerful connection between movement, mindset and mental wellbeing through honest, engaging conversations with well-known personalities including Jeremy Vine, Levi Roots, Dr Amir Khan, Kadeena Cox, Shaun Wallace, Rustie Lee and Laura Hamilton.

At its core, the podcast aims to remind people that exercise doesn’t need to be intimidating, punishing or extreme. Sometimes, simply getting outside, taking a bike ride or moving a little more each day can have a huge impact on physical and mental well-being.
