A cadence sensor measures how quickly you are pedalling and delivers steady, predictable assistance. A torque sensor measures how much effort you are putting through the pedals and scales the motor's response to match. VOLT's SpinTech system combines the two, so the bike pulls away smoothly from a standstill, adds power on hills the moment you press harder, and eases off just as naturally when you stop. The result is assistance that feels like an extension of your own pedalling rather than a switch being flicked.
